Una bussola per la moralità può indicarti la direzione giusta ma non ti porta a destinazione. La nostra cultura sostiene che non devi più provare vergogna per quello che fai. E purtroppo questa città è fondata sul principio che non esiste qualcosa come la colpa: “Fa quello che vuoi, non ti giudicheremo”. Quindi, senza una coscienza, non c’è niente che ti impedisca di uccidere qualcuno. Evidentemente, non devi nemmeno sentirti in colpa.

Vivo in mezzo ai giovani. Credetemi. È terribile, ma questo è uno specchio della realtà.

Our moral compass can only point us in the right direction, it can’t make us go there. We live in a society that preaches ‘Do whatever you want,’ and that includes killing someone. This city is built on the foundation that you can do whatever you want. You can even kill somebody, and apperently you don’t even have to feel bad about it.
